"So, where do you blog...?"
Is this the chat up line of our times? Why spend hard earned money on an awkward dinner when first dates could be conducted entirely through blogworld? Banal chitchat and halfbaked world views could be scrolled through at one's leisure rather than endured behind tasteless pizza and so much cheap wine. Indeed, perhaps with blogworld we may never again need to leave the house for meaningful human interaction.
At the very least blogging is a 21st century status symbol. The process of putting your ideas, opinions and beliefs on line for all to scrutinise seems to lend them credence. It confirms you as an intersting and intelligent person. To those in the know, any unfortunate souls who do not frequent blogworld are to be sneered at and dismissed as irrelevent. The equation is simple;
No Blog = No worth while thoughts
Yet as a first time blogger the penny already seems to have dropped...Are we not all talking to ourselves! This is carnal self-gratification! so why do i feel so pleased with myself...? Aaargh! The blogs have claimed another victim. From now on i shall be contactable only through blogworld...
